During May 2019, many Landscape Architecture students took part in the faculty led program to the Pacific Northwest. Led by UK Associate faculty member Ryan Hargrove, the students explored cities such as Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland, Oregon.

Studying abroad is an important aspect of the Landscape Architecture major. Each summer the department develops a study abroad trip for the student body. In the past, trips have been led to Spain and Argentina. Additionally, students can pursue their own study abroad experience through different university programs. Recently, students have pursued study abroad in Melbourne Australia, Copenhagen, Denmark, and London, England.
